Insulated Tarps are a lightweight and effective method of providing temporary insulation on project sites. They are perfect for construction and hoarding. These are 12' x 20', with grommets on the edges for easy tie-downs and are white in colour.

These systems provide industry-leading weather protection and debris containment in commercial and industrial construction applications. Retain heat on your construction site and reduce heating costs with an insulated blanket, a lightweight and effective method of providing temporary insulation.

These Insulated Blankets are additionally used to maintain optimum concrete cure time in cold and adverse weather, preventing hold-ups on construction projects. This Insulated Tarp includes a layer of closed-cell expanded polyethylene foam, complemented by a water-repellent lightweight reinforced polyethylene (RPE) outer shell. These durable tarps strengthen the tarp's overall connection to your scaffolding.

Note: *In our thermal resistance or R value testing, a nominal R4 per inch (RSI 0.028/mm) was determined for our standard insulated tarps. The R4 is a result of testing the multiple layers of insulated tarps and air layer trapped between the tarps. Layfield’s insulated tarps were tested by a recognized testing lab for their thermal resistance or R value. Layfield tested the product in accordance with ASTM C 518-04 as a guide. The test measured “Steady-State Heat Flux Measurements and Thermal Transmission Properties by means of the Heat Flow Meter Apparatus”. In field, the thermal insulation values can be drastically affected if the tarp’s integrity is compromised, example: tear in blanket, loosely held foam between the RPE layers. Layfield’s insulated tarps are fabricated with closed cell foam wide enough to cover the entire width of the tarp.
